Evangelism: Personal Conversation (Part 2)

What are some of the great truths we need to communicate to those who are not Christians? We need to tell them about God. He is loving and forgiving, but He will not forgive anyone’s sin unless they repent. We need to speak to them about sin. They need to see that they have sinned against God and one way of helping them see this is by showing them what the law says. We need to tell them about the judgment. Every single person will face the judgment of God and we must be ready for this. We need to tell them what Jesus has done to save us. Jesus has died on the cross for our sins so we can be forgiven. Though He never sinned, He became sin for us so we could become the righteousness of God (2 Corinthians 5:21). We need to tell them what we must do to be saved. We must repent of our sins and turn to God. We must believe (trust) on the Lord Jesus. Though our main calling is to tell others about the truth of God, we need to be ready to answer some questions and objections one may have as we witness to them. We discuss some of these in this sermon.
